By accessing or using KittyLog ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
KittyLog is an AI-powered changelog generation service that integrates with GitHub repositories to automatically create changelogs. The Service analyzes commits, pull requests, and releases to generate human-readable changelog entries, which are hosted on KittyLog.
AI Processing: We exclusively use United States-based AI inference providers (currently Cerebras and Groq) that operate under API agreements prohibiting the use of your data for model training. Your code and commit data is processed transiently to generate changelogs and is not retained by AI providers beyond the API request.
To use KittyLog, you must authenticate via GitHub OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account and any actions taken through your KittyLog account.
You agree not to:
KittyLog requires access to your GitHub repositories to function. By connecting your repositories, you grant KittyLog permission to read commit history, pull requests, releases, and (if enabled on Pro/Business plans) code diffs. Generated changelogs are hosted on KittyLog and accessible via our platform. You may optionally enable auto-commit to have changelogs committed directly to your repository. You can revoke GitHub access at any time through your GitHub settings or by disconnecting repositories in KittyLog.
KittyLog offers free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees.
KittyLog may offer a one-level referral program. A new customer who follows a valid referral link may save up to $5 on their first paid plan checkout. The person sharing the link may earn a $5 KittyLog credit or, if explicitly enrolled in the US beta cash pilot, a $5 cash reward after the qualifying payment.
Standard rewards require a successful, non-zero base-plan payment that remains paid and undisputed through a 14-day hold. For the beta cash pilot, monthly plans qualify after the first paid renewal and annual plans qualify after the initial payment remains paid, unrefunded, and undisputed for 30 days. A referral expires if no qualifying payment occurs within 120 days.
Cash-pilot participants must be explicitly enrolled by KittyLog, live in the United States, and be at least 18 years old. The pilot accepts new cash-eligible referral attributions beginning at 00:00 UTC on August 15, 2026, and ending immediately before 00:00 UTC on November 13, 2026. Qualification, holds, and payment for valid referrals attributed during that window may occur after the attribution window closes.
Approved cash rewards are paid monthly by check from KittyLog's business checking account. KittyLog obtains the legal payee name and mailing address directly from the participant when a check is ready; those details are not collected or stored in the referral system. Participants are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. A payout remains outstanding until KittyLog's bank reports the check cleared. Participants may choose a noncash, banked KittyLog credit instead.
Self-referrals, fake or duplicate accounts, spam, misleading claims, paid bidding on KittyLog brand keywords, reward transfers, and attempts to manipulate qualification are prohibited. A GitHub identity is eligible as a newly referred customer only once, including if its KittyLog account is deleted and later recreated. Public endorsements must clearly disclose the financial connection. Referral rewards may be taxable income; participants are responsible for their taxes, and KittyLog may securely request tax information when legally required.
KittyLog may reject fraud or material abuse, end the pilot, or change future offers. Already-earned rewards continue under the rules recorded when the referral was attributed. Cash-pilot obligations are limited to less than $600 per participant per calendar year; because rewards are issued in $5 increments, the effective cash maximum is $595. Future referrals receive noncash KittyLog credit once the ceiling would be reached. Pilot dates and the current terms version are shown when a participant confirms a payout preference.
You retain all rights to your code and repositories. Changelog entries generated by KittyLog are owned by you. KittyLog retains ownership of the Service, its technology, and branding.
